The most-winning ESC country of all time will possibly be joined in that particular club and it is probably mostly due to the fact that our Irish friends are really struggling to make it happen in our beloved competition.

Ever since there was a free choice of language to perform their song in ESC, this country has struggled and we have to go back to 2018 to find the last time they made it to a final.

Is the group Wild Youth the right ones to correct the bad statistics and is it the song “We Are One” that will finally do the trick?

The song itself I think has a lot of good beats and a nice rock rhythm and should have an opportunity to gain enough of an audience to have a chance of reaching a final place.

Then it’s stupid for the guys in Wild Youth that they stand in what is considered by most to be the toughest semi-final and that probably songs that deserved a place in the final will miss it for that very reason.

So at the moment I therefore think that the working week in the second week of May will be rather short for our Irish friends and that they will be standing on the platform when Alessandra and nine others travel to the final.
