The official music video has been released for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest entry from Cyprus. The rock band Minus One will perform Alter Ego. The song is composed by legendary Swedish writer Thomas G:Son with Minus One. The first play of the video was broadcast on CyBC news.
Alter Ego is a pop/rock song with a strong production. The video includes a wolf (whose name is Ares). I did not expect much of the song after seeing the picture of the group but the song is actually quite good even for people like me who is not really into rock songs
Funny how Georgia and Cyprus both are sending alt rock songs. Yet, Cyprus seems to have been far more successful (Thomas G:son?). Before it came out, I thought I wouldn’t care for this song, but I was wrong. I quite enjoy it!
