Lucio Corsi has been announced as the representative for Italy at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Volevo essere un duro (I wanted to be a tough guy).

The winner of Sanremo 2025 festival, Olly, has decided not to go to Basel for Eurovision. So, the runner up Lucio Corsi will now fly the Italian flag.
