Dmitry Koldun represented Belarus at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with Work Your Magic. On 1 December he was a special guest at the Road Radio Music Awards 2024 in St. Petersburg in Russia.

Eliana Goncharova was at the event for ESC COVERS and managed to have a brief interview with Dmitry.

What’s the secret to a happy marriage other than love?

My wife Victoria and I have been together for 23 years. My wife loves me and protects me in any way.

Are you jealous?

We don’t give reasons for jealousy, we don’t check each other’s phones.

What does it mean to you to get an award from Road Radio?

The last time when I received a “Star” from Road Radio was 10 years ago and today I finally receive it again! For any singer it is important when the audience listens to your songs and buys tickets to your concerts. But if you additionally receive some other award, you understand that you did a good job this year!

Do you listen to the radio?

Yes, I do. I try to listen to something new.

Where are you planning to spend your Christmas holidays?

I will lie on the sofa, eat well and sleep.

Will you take part in holiday TV programs for New Year and Christmas?
