Karei (Christina Magrin) has won the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2024 festival in Malta with her song Nistħajlek Hawn (I Miss You Here). A song dedicated to her late grandmother.
Nistħajlek Hawn is composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas and Paul Ellul.
Christina Magrin represented Malta at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Parachute.
