For several days to come we will look at the German Eurovision winner of 1982 NICOLE and original songs by her that have been covered by South African artists in Afrikaans or English.

The 14th NICOLE song is SONG FOR THE WORLD from 1987.

There is two  Afrikaans covers of the song. Unfortunately neither is  on Youtube.

FANIE DE JAGER  covered it as DIE GANG VAN DIE TYD.

RINA HUGO covered it as LIED VAN DIE SON.

Also two South African artists covered it as a mixture of several languages. NADINE covered it exactly like Nicole with English, German and French, while SIMEON HAMMAN covered it in English and Afrikaans.
