On June 4, a charity concert was held in St. Petersburg, Russia, where participants of the musical TV Show “New Star Factory” performed. Our Russian journalist Eliana Goncharova worked at the event for ESCCovers.
The event was organised by the production center “Music Soul”. The concert was attended by contestants of the TV show “New Star Factory” – Maria Gordeeva (the winner), Nonna Yeganyan, Alexander Filin, Gabriel Alexandrov (Gabriel L), Polina Bykovskaya (Polka) and Esther. The singers performed on the stage of the Colosseum concert hall with songs that they released during the “New Star Factory”.
The ‘New Star Factory’ on TNT Chanel is the come back of the legendary musical TV show, which was very popular in Russia from 2002 to 2008. Many Eurovision stars appeared on the big stage for the first time on the Star Factory: Polina Gagarina (Russia 2015), Yulia Savicheva (Russia 2004), Dmitry Koldun (Belarus 2007), Natalya Podolskaya (Russia 2005), Anastasia Prikhodko (Russia 2009) Zena (Belarus 2019), Elena Temnikova (Russia 2007 – member of Serebro).
