The Song of Year show took place on NTV channel in Russia. Vyacheslav Makarov, Erik Antonyan and Alexander Filin got to perform the song Serdtse izo Lda (Heart of Ice).

Erik Antonyan is from Armenia but has been based in UK.  He took part in the 2018 Depi Mankakan Evratesil JESC national selection in Armenia with the song Ari Pari. He was also a popular contestant on The Voice Kids Russia.

Vyacheslav Makarov is a very popular singer and TV presenter in Russia including The Masked Singer there. The song, Serdtse izo Lda, was a big hit for him.

Alexander Filin is also a popular young artists from Russia. He was on The Voice Kids Russia.
