SWEDEN has won the 2023 Eurovision song contest and will host in 2024. That co-inside with the 50th anniversary of them winning in 1974 with ABBA.

For the next 50 days ESC Covers will post one song a day which is a Swedish song, either an actual entry, a selection song, or a song by a Eurovision artist covered in South Arica, either in Afrikaans or English.

Song 12 is MILLION MILES. It was recorded by CHARLOTTE PERRELLI who first won the Eurovision song contest for Sweden in 1999 with TAKE ME TO YOUR HEAVEN and then participated again in 2008 with HERO.

WILLEM BOTHA covered Million  miles in Afrikaans as AL IS JY MILLION MILES AWAY.
