So what the bookmakers have been predicting since we heard the song Tattoo for the first time over 2 months ago,  happened.

And they should have these who make a living from people putting money on the strangest things, they are rarely very wrong, not even within a sport where you have to try to be the most liked by a group of people who vote for you.

On my private ranking list, I have Loreen and the song “Tattoo” in second place behind Italy and should therefore be very satisfied.

But, really, in the same way as last year when Ukraine was my favorite song and won, I’m just sitting here half-satisfied.

Because actually there was another song that I really wanted to win and this year it was Finland, a song that bewitched the audience inside the hall it could sound like and he probably got the most support during the voting and how cool was it that the The Norwegian jury gave him top score.

Well, now the rules are once again that the juries have half the power, but those who don’t like juries have now had a lot of grist in their complaint mill about the fact that juries are used in the ESC.

About that, we had to realize that our Norwegian contribution once again did not go down particularly well with the juries and they managed a third place with the people to take us up to fifth place overall.

Alessandra should be super proud of that, she delivered the goods when it mattered most and can go back to Norway with her head held high.

She became our MGP queen and she deserved that crown and she was not ashamed of it and maybe the Norwegian delegation will have to take the bus next year, they have done that the last few times the final has actually been held in Sweden.

Some have to get up early to go home, the stay in Liverpool certainly lived up to expectations and as always, no matter what you really thought was the song that should win, the right song won.
