Rita Laranjeira has emphasized the important message about the damage being done to our oceans by showing her performance of Breathing Underwater by Emily Sandé.

‘The oceans: life and livelihood’ is the theme for this year of 2021, in the celebration of World Ocean Day. The message in the song is that pollution has to slow down now.

Rita Laranjeira represented Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Gosto de Tudo (Já Não Gosto de Nada).
