On 28 APRIL 2021 the first South-African Independent Artist Music Awards will take place. It will take place at Platteland in Centurion.

ESC Covers will report on some of the nominations (those that have covered a Eurovision song in their careers) and also publish one of their Eurovision covers.

COLE VAN DAIS  is one of the artists nominated in one of the categories and have covered Eurovision songs.

The song is called SUID-AFRIKAANSE MEISIES  (South African girls) and it is a cover of the 2009 Eurovision entry from Romania – The Balkan girls sung by Elena.
