Roxen – ‘Amnesia’

After keeping herself busy with a collaboration with Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak during the period between the aborted 2020 and the upcoming 2021 contest, Roxen has returned with a similar offering to her 2020 song ‘Alcohol me’

Whilst Amnesia may be slightly more upbeat (at least musically) than ‘Alcohol me’ , the sound is very similar with the exception here being that Roxen’s vocals seem to have suffered from unnecessarily heavy processing  in the studio mix.

That said, this is a classy modern contemporary song  and love them or hate them, recent entries of this genre, clearly demonstrate that the Eurovision song contest can and should be, catering for, and relevant to,  a new younger audience that will ensure it thrives for many years to come.
