Stefan Raab and ProSieben will host their own alternative Eurovision on May 16th.
Raab himself participated in the Eurovision as a performer in 2000, as a songwriter in 1998 and 2004, and was the organizer of the German selection for the contest in 2004, 2010-2012. He is also known for his own television projects, including Bundesvision competition.
The format of Raab’s new project “FREE EUROPEAN SONG CONTEST” #FreeESC will be announced later.

ProSieben will broadcast the “FREE EUROPEAN SONG CONTEST” live from Cologne on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 8:15 p.m. The show is produced by Stefan Raab. All current legal requirements and the requirements of the health authorities will be met during production.
