Magdalena Aleksovska has had a busy and prosperous year. She was successful in auditions for the American protégé in the musicals category and took the third place award. She was invited to perform at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York City at a special Gala Concert. In the auditions Magdalena sang Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid, Don’t Rain On My Parade from Funny Girl and Worse Things I Could Do from Grease. The latter song is what she performed on the big stage at the Carnegie Hall.
Magdalena also performed her own special concert back home in FYR Macedonia at Gjorce Petrov, Skopje. She is comfortable performing both classical and pop songs and she sang both styles at the show and a lot of students from her high school were a part of the concert. Some of the songs Magdalena performed were Simply The Best by Tina Turner, Valerie by Amy Winehouse and songs by Christina Aguilera and also the songs from the musicals that she sang at the American protégé auditions.
Magdalena represented FYR Macedonia with Ivana Petkovska at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Pletenka.
