Wendi Mancaku is another talented young singer to emerge from Albania. She has already much success in festivals and events in her country.

She began her success trail in 2010 at part of the group Yllkat and won the first prize at the Top Channel show Nje kenge per ty. In the same year she took the second prize the Festivalin e tiranes per femije and also took the runner up prize at Shkodres per femije.

In 2011 Wendi performed with her father at the Top Fest 9 competition and more success in 2012 at Festivalin e 49 te tiranes and Festivalin e shkodres and also took part in Festivalin eurosong junior. She also won first prize at The MAMS as an actress and her singer.

In 2013 Wendi finished as runner up in The Voice Kids of Albania and took part again in the Festivalin eurosong junior with Vanesa Sono with the song Jeto and finished in third place.

Musical talent runs in the family as Wendi’s father is a music composer and her younger sister, Melodajna, is also a singer and maybe we will see her in Junior Eurovision events in Albania in the near future.

Check out some videos of Wendi below. Included is a very interesting clip for Eurovision fans from 2015 of Wendi with Inis Neziri and Vanesa Sono as guests doing a medley at Festivali i Këngës #56
